Martha Stewart inspired Creamer

I am SUPER excited about this post. I love Martha Stewart’s craft line. The woman may be a bitch little hard to work with but, she makes an amazing product.

I saved for a few weeks to buy a couple of things that I had been looking at for a while. I settled on two different stencils and a few paints because they were on sale for 30% off and then I had an additional 20% off after that! I HAD to buy them! Right? Right!!??

Last summer while at a garage sale, which is something I am obsessed with doing, I found a beautiful creamer. It was plain white and I bargained it down to $.50. I knew I wanted to wait until I found the perfect project to use it. As soon as I saw the stencils in Micheal’s I thought of the creamer!

That night at midnight I couldn’t wait any longer. I got out the paint, stencils and creamer sent my hubby to bed (so I could have peace and quiet for 10 minutes lol) and got to work.

I started out by washing and scrubbing the creamer to make sure that the paint would stick properly.
I used the Martha Stewart lace flower silkscreen stencil. I cut off the part that I wanted to use and stuck it onto the side of the creamer. (Are you getting sick of the word creamer yet bc I am)

Put some paint on the pouncer and dabbed it right onto the top of the silkscreen

Immediately remove the silkscreen and wash it so it cleans up nice and then use a toothpick to clean up the edges of your stencil while it is still wet if need be.

I continued around doing two of each of the flowers that came with the silkscreen set. Two grey two blue which will match my kitchen perfectly!

Now I just have to find a place to keep it out all the time since I’m so in love with it!

Finished CreamerThank you Martha!!
